Research

So far research for my paper has been overwheming, which leads me to believe I need to narrow my subject. I will be trying to offer a solution to Arizona's border control problem. Since, this is a difficult and sensitive subject, I have to make sure I get my facts straight, while at the same offering a solution, that is good for both parties envolved. Also, my solution must be humane. I will be finishing my anotated bib tonight, but this will most likely not be my final draft. Good luck on your research class.

My Little Secret, you're absolutely right about the heavier burden of proof that falls on rhetors who take controversial positions. It's easy, of course, to engage in conjecture on these subjects, but that will rarely persuade anyone (we can bat our opinions back and forth all day and never come close to an exchange of ideas). I'm glad you're risking the controversial debate--easier, of course, just to ignore those and engage softer subjects. Keep at it!
